The Fitness Instructor is responsible for delivering high-quality fitness and wellness experiences to guests in line with SO/ brand standards and the All-Inclusive Collection concept. This role involves conducting group classes, providing personal training sessions, ensuring safety and cleanliness of gym facilities, and inspiring guests to achieve their health and fitness goals in a stylish and motivating environment.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Engagement & Training

• Conduct engaging group fitness classes such as yoga, Pilates, HIIT, strength training, aqua aerobics, or stretching.
• Provide personalized fitness programs and one-on-one training based on guest needs, goals, and fitness levels.
• Demonstrate correct exercise techniques to ensure safety and effectiveness.
• Motivate and encourage guests to maintain healthy lifestyles during and beyond their stay.

Facility Operations

• Ensure the fitness center, studios, and equipment are clean, safe, and well-maintained at all times.
• Conduct regular inspections of gym facilities and report maintenance issues promptly.
• Monitor the use of equipment and enforce safety rules to minimize risks or injuries.

Programming & Innovation

• Contribute ideas for new fitness and wellness programs aligned with guest preferences and lifestyle trends.
• Support resort-wide wellness and recreational events, integrating fitness into the broader guest experience.
• Collaborate with Spa, Recreation, and Entertainment teams to deliver holistic well-being offerings.

Health & Safety

• Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene standards as per local regulations and SO/ brand policies.
• Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies, providing first aid or CPR when required.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, guest feedback, and any incidents.

Qualifications

• Recognized certification in fitness instruction, personal training, or group exercise (REPs UAE, ACE, NASM, or equivalent).
• Proven experience as a fitness instructor in a hotel, resort, or fitness club environment.
• Strong knowledge of exercise science, training techniques, and wellness trends.
• Excellent communication and motivational skills with an approachable and energetic personality.
• Ability to instruct diverse fitness levels and adapt programs to individual needs.
• First aid and CPR certification required.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
