Job Description
A well-leading joinery/ furniture interior fit-out company looking for an AutoCAD draughtsman who can prepare Interior Fit-out and furniture shop drawings and details The responsibilities and duties will include :
- 4 yearsof hands-on experience in UAE - preparing shop drawings as per the final Bill of Quantities (BOQ)
- Ability to raise queries/RFI to the Project Consultant/Client for clarification, and understand and then incorporate the same in the detailed Joinery Drawing.
- Coordinate with Production Team once drawings are approved and also with the site team to arrange to take site dimensions
- Issue subcontractor with relevant drawings related to their scope of work in consultation with the Production Department.
- Prepare, read and interpret drawings and sketches
- Following specifications and calculations to create various technical drawings.
- Preparing both rough sketches and detailed work with CADD systems.
- Communicating with designers and engineers, and incorporating knowledge gained into drawings.
- Preparing, reviewing and redrafting alongside the engineering team.
- Identifying and communicating potential design problems to the rest of the team.
- Good oral and written communication skills in English
- Self-reliance & ability in AutoCAD, 3D Max,3D modelling, Photoshop Adobe, Microsoft office, SKETCHUP SOFTWARE PROGRAM, AUTO DESK INVENTOR AND DESIGN AUTOCADAUTO DESK INVENTOR AND DESIGN AUTOCAD
- Knowledge in Space Planning & Commercial Interior Environment, fit out detailing, Specifications, Suppliers & Materials is a must
- UAE/GCC experience is a MUST.
- Available to join team immediately.
- Must have carpentry / joinery experience
- Must have excellent knowledge and experience of working on AutoCAD
- Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
