We are seeking a

Fit-Out Engineer

with strong technical, design, and execution skills -- someone capable of managing detailed drawings, material coordination, and on-site delivery with precision and professionalism.

Position Summary

The

Fit-Out Engineer

will be responsible for preparing and reviewing

AutoCAD drawings, shop drawings, and BOQs

, as well as managing site execution for interior projects.
You will coordinate with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure that all works are delivered to the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance with UAE authority regulations.

Design, Drawings & Documentation

Prepare, review, and revise

AutoCAD drawings

,

shop drawings

, and

as-built drawings

. Develop and maintain

Bill of Quantities (BOQ)

, quantity take-offs, and material lists for all fit-out elements. Coordinate design details with consultants, clients, and MEP engineers. Ensure that all design documents meet project specifications and UAE authority requirements.

Technical & Site Execution

Supervise daily site activities for interior fit-out works (partitions, ceilings, flooring, joinery, finishes). Coordinate with MEP teams for service integration and interface resolutions. Ensure works are executed as per approved drawings, quality standards, and project timelines. Conduct inspections and ensure quality workmanship and compliance with specifications.

Project Coordination & Planning

Prepare and monitor project schedules, progress reports, and resource planning. Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants for timely approvals and deliveries. Ensure smooth coordination between design, procurement, and site execution teams. Attend coordination and progress meetings and maintain documentation for approvals and inspections.

Budgeting & Cost Control

Assist in

cost estimation

,

BOQ verification

, and

material procurement

. Track project budgets, variations, and recommend value engineering where applicable. Support project management in cost forecasting and financial reporting.

Compliance & Safety

Ensure all activities comply with

Dubai Municipality

,

Civil Defense

, and

UAE safety standards

. Maintain high site safety standards and conduct toolbox meetings as required. Ensure proper documentation for inspections, approvals, and authority submissions.

Qualifications & Skills

Education

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in

Civil Engineering

,

Architectural Engineering

, or related field. UAE-attested qualification preferred.

Experience

3-6 years

of UAE experience in interior fit-out or renovation projects (commercial, retail, or residential). Proven track record of preparing

AutoCAD drawings, shop drawings, BOQs

, and supervising fit-out works. Experience in project coordination, quantity surveying, and procurement support is an advantage.
