Fishing Boat Captain

Job Description
We are seeking a Junior Fishing Boat Captain to join our team in Dubai. The successful candidate will assist in the operation of a fishing vessel, ensuring the safe and successful completion of fishing trips. Package (NOT negotiable):
- Base Salary \xe2\x80\x93 Monthly: AED 1,000
- Housing Allowance \xe2\x80\x93 Monthly: AED 500
- Transportation Allowance \xe2\x80\x93 Monthly: AED 500
- Extra Commission per trip
- Free Health Insurance
- 100% of Tips from customers
- 30 Days of Annual Leave
- One-time travel allowance every two years: AED 2,500
- Assist in the operation and maintenance of a fishing vessel, including navigation, steering, and handling equipment.
- Assist in planning and executing fishing trips, including preparing equipment and supplies.
- Support in ensuring that safety procedures are followed and that all fishing regulations are adhered to.
- Learn and develop fishing techniques and safety procedures through training and supervision from experienced crew members.
- Help to maintain the fishing boat and equipment, performing routine maintenance and repairs as needed.
- Boat driving license.
- STCW licenses.
- VHF Radio license.
- Some experience in the fishing tourism industry is preferred, but not required.
- Strong interest in learning the skills and techniques required for fishing boat operation and fishing practices.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to work well as part of a team and take direction from the captain and crew.
- Physical fitness and stamina, with the ability to work long hours in challenging conditions.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Fluency in English is required.
- STCW license (Required)
- Boat Driving License (Required)
- VHF Radio Certificate (Required)
