Job Description

  • Responsible for providing first aid and appropriate medical treatment to injured or ill employees.
  • Conducts regular inventory counts on medicine supplies as basis for ordering and purchase request for replenishment.
  • Monitors validity of medical supplies, ensuring that expired items are disposed of properly by expiry date.
  • Maintains medical equipment to its full function and ensuring that first aid kits are complete and at hand.
  • Provides assistance to injured employees who are returning to work after their medical leave period.
  • Delivers health and safety training to employees on both formal and direct approaches.
  • Communicates safety risk issues and concerns to appropriate managers.
  • Conducts accident investigation procedures for causes of certain injuries.
  • Communicates with doctors from affiliate hospitals, as necessary, to arrange further treatment of employees.
  • Maintains employee health records and prepares accident reports.
  • Ensures that clinic facilities and equipment are functioning properly with consideration on safe use.
  • Coordinates with other clinics as well as the main clinic officers
  • Observes cleanliness inside and around the Clinic premises and ambulance units.
  • Refills all oxygen gas (O2) cylinders as necessary.
  • To understand and follow the organizational HS&E policies.
  • To follow safety instructions related to their jobs.
  • To report damaged PPE, unsafe machines and equipment to concerned staff.
  • To keep the provided PPE’s in good workable conditions.
  • To avoid any horseplay and abuse of safety devices, equipment and welfare facilities.
  • To report any accidents, near misses or hazardous conditions to concerned responsible.
  • To attend safety trainings planned for them.
  • Having a right to say “NO” to any unsafe work.
  • Submits daily and monthly medical reports.
  • Summarizes and submits monthly medical leaves of employees.
  • Submits medical insurance applications from employees to the Insurance Services Division.
  • Distributes medical insurance cards to employees.
  • Encodes medical leave applications of employees.
  • Coordinates with Administration management and personnel on certain issues and supports in other tasks as needed.
  • Reports functionally to the plant management.
