Envor Facilities Management, a leading provider of integrated facilities management services in the UAE, is seeking a skilled and dedicated Fire Sealant Insulation Technician to join our growing team. Job Responsibilities:

The Fire Sealant Insulation Technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of passive fire protection systems, with a primary focus on fire sealant and insulation applications. Key duties include:

Installation of Fire Sealants and Insulation:

Applying fire-rated sealants, coatings, and insulation materials to various surfaces, including walls, floors, ceilings, ducts, and penetrations, to prevent the spread of fire and smoke.
Cutting, shaping, and fitting insulation materials (e.g., fiberglass, mineral wool, fire-rated boards) around obstructions and complex structures.
Ensuring proper preparation of surfaces before application, including cleaning and priming.
Installing firestopping systems in accordance with technical drawings, specifications, and relevant fire safety codes (e.g., NFPA standards, UAE Civil Defense regulations).
Maintenance and Repair:

Inspecting existing fire sealant and insulation systems for damage, wear, or non-compliance.
Performing repairs and replacements of damaged firestopping materials to maintain system integrity.
Identifying and reporting any deficiencies or potential fire hazards.
Technical Interpretation and Application:

Reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications to determine job requirements and proper installation methods.
Selecting appropriate fire sealant and insulation materials based on fire rating requirements, location, and environmental conditions.
Quality Control and Documentation:

Ensuring all work meets quality standards and passes necessary inspections.
Maintaining accurate records of work performed, materials used, and inspection results.
Safety and Compliance:

Adhering strictly to all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) guidelines and company policies.
Using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
Ensuring compliance with local civil defense and fire authority regulations.
Collaboration and Communication:

Coordinating with site engineers, foremen, and other trades to ensure smooth workflow and project completion.
Communicating effectively with supervisors and team members regarding progress and any challenges encountered.
Qualifications and Skills:

Proven experience as a Fire Sealant Insulation Technician or similar role in the UAE.
Knowledge of passive fire protection principles and systems.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Familiarity with relevant fire safety codes and standards (e.g., NFPA, UAE Civil Defense).
Proficiency in using hand and power tools required for sealant and insulation application.
Strong attention to detail and ability to perform precise work.
Good physical fitness and ability to work at heights or in confined spaces when required.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
A valid UAE driving license may be an advantage not mandatory.
