Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop fire protection systems, strategies, and plans to mitigate the risk of fire in petrochemical facilities and equipment.
- Conduct inspections and evaluations of fire protection systems and equipment, identify potential hazards and risks, and recommend solutions.
- Collaborate with other engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure that fire protection systems meet industry standards and regulations.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments, trends, and best practices in fire protection engineering.
- Manage fireproofing projects from inception to completion, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations for management and regulatory agencies.Bachelor\'s degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in designing and implementing fire protection systems and strategies in petrochemical facilities.
- Strong knowledge of petrochemical processes and hazards, as well as relevant industry standards and regulations.
- Familiarity with fireproofing materials and techniques, including cementitious, intumescent, and ablative coatings.
- Experience in project management, budgeting, and scheduling.
- Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
