Key Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair
fire fighting systems
(sprinklers, hose reels, pumps, fire extinguishers, etc.)
Read and interpret
drawings, schematics, and technical documents
related to fire protection systems.
Conduct regular inspections and functional testing of fire safety equipment.
Work closely with site engineers and project managers to ensure proper integration during
fit-out works
.
Ensure compliance with
local fire safety codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., NFPA, Civil Defense)
.
Prepare daily work reports and communicate job progress.
Travel to various project sites (valid
driving license
required).
Requirements:
Minimum
2-5 years
of experience in
fire fighting systems installation and maintenance
.
Prior experience in
fit-out projects
is mandatory.
Familiarity with
fire alarm, suppression, and protection systems
.
Must hold a
valid UAE (or relevant country) driving license
.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
Good communication skills and team player.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in
fire protection systems
or related technical field.
Knowledge of local authority regulations (e.g., Dubai Civil Defense or equivalent).
Experience in both
residential and commercial fit-out projects
