Midas Electromechanical Contracting is looking for a
Firefighting Technician
to install, maintain, and repair
fire protection systems
, including fire pumps, sprinklers, hydrants, and hose reels. The candidate should have hands-on experience in firefighting system installation and troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities:
Install and repair
firefighting systems
(sprinklers, hydrants, hose reels, and fire pumps).
Perform routine checks and maintenance on
fire suppression systems
.
Troubleshoot and fix
mechanical and electrical faults
in fire safety equipment.
Test fire pumps, piping, and valves to ensure proper operation.
Work with the team to ensure all firefighting systems meet safety standards.
Requirements:
Education:
High school diploma or technical training in firefighting systems.
Experience:
Minimum
2-5 years
in
firefighting system installation and maintenance
.
Skills:
Experience with fire pumps, valves, sprinkler systems, and hose reel connections.
Basic electrical knowledge for troubleshooting fire pump panels is a plus.
Understanding of
NFPA standards and UAE Civil Defense regulations
.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift equipment, work in confined spaces, and perform manual tasks.
