Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical/Mechanical Engineer with specialized knowledge in fire alarm/firefighting maintenance to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining and ensuring the proper functioning of electrical and mechanical systems, with a particular focus on fire protection and safety systems. This role requires a strong understanding of both engineering principles and fire safety codes to ensure the safety and efficiency of all systems in operation.

Key Responsibilities:

Fire Safety System Maintenance: Perform routine and preventative maintenance tasks of fire alarm systems, fire suppression systems, emergency lighting, smoke detectors, fire pumps, and other related fire safety equipment. Compliance & Regulatory Adherence: Ensure all systems meet local and national fire safety standards and regulations. Conduct inspections and audits as required for certification or licensing purposes from Civil defense. Supervision: Supervision at sites as per the requirement & tasks provided on day to day basis Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and system performance. Prepare and submit reports regarding fire safety compliance and system conditions. Collaboration with Fire Safety Team: Work closely with on-site team, technicians, and other engineering teams to ensure comprehensive fire protection and emergency response strategies are in place. Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify areas for system improvement and provide recommendations for upgrades or replacements of outdated fire safety equipment. Emergency Response: Be on-call for emergency repairs or troubleshooting of fire safety systems, ensuring quick response to any malfunction or failure. Administration & licensing: Applications for Civil defense AMC, Renewals, etc to be executed on daily basis.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience in electrical or mechanical engineering roles with a focus on fire safety or fire protection systems maintenance. Strong understanding of fire safety standards and codes (e.g., NFPA & local building codes). Familiarity with fire alarm systems, fire suppression systems, emergency lighting systems, and other related equipment. Proficient in using diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot system issues. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics/drawings, and system documentation. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Valid driver's license and ability to travel to various project sites as required.
