Job Description

We are looking for a Fire Alarm Technician to install and update fire alarm systems in commercial and residential buildings. You will perform inspections, test alarms, and troubleshoot or document any issues.
Applicants for this position should have their relevant certification, which requires prior experience. You should also be knowledgeable about cable pulling, GI pipes, condutings, wiring etc. Fire Alarm Technician Duties and Responsibilities

• Install and program control panels and all other equipment for fire alarm systems with the guidance of building plans and electrical layouts
• Mount sensors at appropriate locations, performing all necessary tasks, such as drilling holes for cabling and accessing locations such as crawlspaces or attics to ensure optimal wiring layouts
• Install all wiring to connect system components, complying with all applicable safety standards and with customer's concerns or preferences
• Show customers how to use alarm system, discuss any questions or concerns and ensure customers are fully satisfied with the service they receive
• Inspect and test systems to ensure all components are performing well and comply with safety requirements
• Review installation manuals, building plans and work orders to plan optimal locations for system components and wiring
• Identify and repair malfunctions in system components or wiring, including ordering and installing replacement parts as necessary
• Compose and submit documentation and reports for each installation or repair visit, complying with company's standard operating procedure
• Install or upgrade fire alarms in commercial and residential buildings
• Test and repair alarm systems already in place
• Perform inspections to ensure alarms are installed according to code
• Fire alarm technicians must inspect and repair heat detectors and sprinkler heads as well as test the building's fire alarm systems using appropriate diagnostic programs and equipment.

Fire Alarm Technician Requirements and Qualifications
-High school diploma or relevant certificate
-Programmed all devices to designated addresses using DPU programmer, used various hand tools to complete the tasks. -Worked with various hand tools, such as screw drivers, wire cutters, testers, etc. -Used hand tools to mount, install, and secure fire alarm devices. -Operate digital test equipment and a variety of power and hand tools -Constructed and fabricated parts, using hand tools and specifications. -Experience with commercial and residential systems Troubleshooting skills -Ability to work on ladders and lift up to 50 lbs. Job Type: Full-time Salary: AED1,300.00 - AED1,700.00 per month Ability to commute/relocate:
