We are looking for a skilled and experienced Fire Alarm Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire alarm systems in residential, commercial, and industrial properties. As a Fire Alarm Technician, you will ensure that all systems meet safety standards of Civil Defence, function efficiently, and comply with local regulations and codes.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, test, and inspect fire alarm systems and associated equipment, including smoke detectors, fire alarm panels, Emergency Light and Voice Evacuation notification devices.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of fire alarm systems.
Repair and replace defective components and wiring.
Ensure compliance with fire safety regulations, local building codes, and industry standards.
Respond promptly to emergency service calls and address system malfunctions.
Provide accurate documentation and reports for all services performed.
Educate clients on proper system operation and safety protocols.
Stay up-to-date on fire alarm technology, safety standards, and regulatory changes.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (some positions may require post-secondary education in electronics or a related field).
Proven experience working with fire alarm systems and safety equipment.
Strong knowledge of fire alarm codes and regulations (NFPA, local codes, etc.).
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Valid driver's license of UAE will be an advantage.
Additional Skills (Preferred but not required):
