to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for the design, installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of fire alarm and life safety systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
Key Responsibilities:
Design fire alarm systems in accordance with NFPA 72, local codes, and client specifications.
Install, program, and commission fire alarm panels, detectors, modules, and other system components.
Conduct inspections and routine maintenance to ensure systems are fully operational and code compliant.
Collaborate with project managers, electricians, and clients to ensure successful project delivery.
Prepare technical documentation including design drawings, test reports, and as-built drawings.
Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Stay updated on the latest fire alarm technologies, standards, and best practices.
Qualifications:
Diploma or degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Fire Protection Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience in fire alarm system design, installation, and maintenance.
Familiarity with fire alarm brands such as Notifier, Siemens, Honeywell, Simplex, or equivalent.
Working knowledge of NFPA codes and local fire safety regulations.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with AutoCAD or fire alarm design software.
Knowledge of voice evacuation and mass notification systems.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
