We are looking for a dynamic, high-impact individual to help build out our Financial Operations function for Africa, based in Dubai. The ideal FinOps candidate is technically and financially savvy and creative, with high levels of proactivity and accountability, strong domain expertise and people skills.

Your specific responsibilities will include:

• Providing input on financial reporting, reconciliation and settlement requirements to guide our integrations with payment network partners
• Prepare and review complex account reconciliations, financial analyses, and deliverables to ensure our funds flows from our network partners to our merchants are accurate and timely
• Proactively identify and resolve financial exceptions, and ensure that exceptions and financial client issues are addressed and resolved in a timely manner
• Manage daily reconciliation process - downloading / uploading partner reports, executing any necessary data entry, performing daily reconciliations, reviewing and resolving daily alerts, and preparing daily merchant payout calculations
• Serve as the point of contact for addressing any inquiries and questions related to financial operations
• Acting independently to lead and complete projects and process improvements to enhance efficiency across the organization

Requirements:

• 5+ years as a financial operations analyst and/or finance integration capacity
• 3+ years in a technology company, preferably in a payments-oriented organization or FinTech
• Thrives working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and able to make sound decisions under pressure
• English at a very high level (all communication is done in English, verbal and written) - additional languages a plus
• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or Operations
• Lived, worked or studied in - or simply have a passion for - Africa
