Job Description

:

The Finishing Foreman is responsible for supervising and coordinating all finishing activities on high-rise building projects, ensuring that the work is completed according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and manage all

finishing works

including blockwork, plastering, painting, tiling, ceiling, joinery, and decorative works. Ensure all finishing activities are executed as per

approved drawings

,

specifications

, and

quality standards

. Coordinate daily work between

site engineers

,

subcontractors

, and

workers

to meet project deadlines. Inspect ongoing and completed works to ensure compliance with quality and safety requirements. Prepare and monitor

daily progress reports

and update the site engineer or construction manager. Ensure proper usage and handling of materials, tools, and equipment at the site. Resolve site issues, report discrepancies, and suggest corrective measures. Maintain site cleanliness and adherence to

HSE regulations

. Assist in manpower planning and ensure productivity and workmanship quality. Attend site coordination meetings when required.

Qualifications & Experience:

Diploma in Civil Engineering

or equivalent technical qualification (preferred).

8-10 years of experience in construction

, with

at least 5 years in the UAE

on

high-rise building projects

. Strong knowledge of finishing materials, installation methods, and quality standards. Ability to read and interpret drawings and finishing details. Excellent leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
