We are looking to hire skilled carpenters with knowledge of various carpentry techniques. You will be responsible for layout, installation, repairing, finishing, and maintaining various structures, fixtures, and buildings. Other duties will include designing, cutting, and measuring materials according to a client\'s drawing requirements. A successful applicant should be hardworking, reliable, and have good communication and organizational skills. You must have completed an apprenticeship in carpentry or have equivalent experience in the field. Responsibilities: \xe2\x88\x99Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings. \xe2\x88\x99Design and construct products in a manner that meets industry standards with a smooth and durable finish. \xe2\x88\x99Utilize hand and power tools as well as complex machines that handle the various aspects of the manufacturing process such as pressing, cutting, edge- banding, and boring. \xe2\x88\x99Shape and assemble materials to build laboratory furniture, including cabinets, countertops, shelves, and other complex fixtures. \xe2\x88\x99Install products in designated locations, ensuring proper fit and alignment. \xe2\x88\x99Efficiently use raw materials whilst keeping waste to a minimum. \xe2\x88\x99Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including organizing tools and equipment, disposing of waste materials, and following safety protocols. \xe2\x88\x99Assisting supervisors with structural design, planning, layout, and installation. \xe2\x88\x99Conduct repair work and installation of doors, windows, cabinets, and other fixtures as required. \xe2\x88\x99Ability to assess the quality of woodwork and materials. \xe2\x88\x99Ability to operate tools, machines, and other equipment. \xe2\x88\x99Compliance with local building codes, and health and safety regulations.
