Key Responsibilities:
Perform finishing carpentry tasks such as:
Installation of doors, door frames, windows, skirting, and architraves
Fitting modular furniture, cabinetry, wardrobes, and shelves
Ceiling and partition framework and paneling (wood/gypsum)
Sanding, staining, and polishing wood surfaces
Measure, cut, and assemble materials using various carpentry tools and equipment
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
Ensure work meets project deadlines and high standards of quality and safety
Collaborate with other trades (e.g., electricians, painters) on-site to ensure proper finishing
Identify and correct any surface defects or misalignments
Maintain tools and work area in good condition
Requirements:
Minimum 4 years of proven experience as a finishing carpenter
Strong knowledge of materials, tools, and techniques used in finishing carpentry
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
