Finishing Carpenter

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:



Read and interpret

architectural drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications to plan and execute high-quality finishing work.

Measure, cut, and install

a wide variety of finishing materials including trim, baseboards, crown moulding, doors, windows, cabinetry, and custom joinery.

Assemble and install

custom-built furniture, built-in units, and decorative woodwork based on joinery designs and standards. Ensure

precise alignment, spacing, and finishing

of installed components using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments. Perform

onsite adjustments, repairs, or modifications

to ensure perfect fit and finish of joinery items.

Sand, stain, paint, or varnish

wooden surfaces to the required finish as per project specifications. Maintain a high standard of

craftsmanship and attention to detail

, ensuring all work meets client expectations and quality benchmarks. Collaborate closely with

project managers, designers, and other trades

to coordinate installation schedules and resolve any onsite issues. Ensure compliance with

health and safety regulations

, proper handling of tools and equipment, and maintain a clean and organized worksite. Perform quality checks on finished products and report any defects or deviations from specifications. Provide

mentorship or support to junior carpenters or apprentices

, as needed.

Pay: AED1,800.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
