Financial Systems Analyst - Finance and Accounting
Role Summary
Responsible for conducting studies, designing, implementing, and monitoring new financial systems while customizing existing systems to enhance operational efficiency. Acts as a key liaison between users and developers to ensure alignment of system functionalities with business requirements.

What You'll Do

• Conduct comprehensive reviews of existing or proposed financial systems to define requirements and provide recommendations for optimization.
• Initiate system development and customization activities in collaboration with users, developers, and software consultants to deliver fully functional solutions.
• Organize and manage user acceptance testing to verify functionality, security, and performance of financial systems.
• Gather user feedback, analyze results, consolidate findings, and implement system improvements as required.
• Provide training, orientation, and continuous support to end-users for effective system utilization.
• Develop technical documentation including specifications, user manuals, and workflow processes for existing and new systems.
• Monitor system performance, initiate fine-tuning activities, and adapt systems to revised organizational requirements.
• Create and customize applications and reports in line with business needs, including installation and configuration of systems.
• Develop logical and physical data models, ensuring compliance with program and business requirements.
• Act as the focal point for system security, managing user accounts, permissions, and troubleshooting technical issues.

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting with formal training in ERP financial system implementation.
• Professional Accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA) preferred.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in Finance/Accounting, including ERP system implementation within a large organization.
• Strong understanding of system documentation, workflow design, and business process improvement.
• Proficient in financial application configuration, data analysis, and ERP platforms.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate across departments.
