Job Description

A leading international law firm is seeking an experienced Senior Associate to join its market-leading Financial Services Regulatory practice in the UAE. Acting for major financial institutions, fintechs, regulators, sovereign wealth funds, and government entities, this is an opportunity to advise on complex and strategically significant mandates at the forefront of regulatory development in the Middle East.
The Role
You will play a pivotal role in delivering high-level advice across the full spectrum of financial services regulation, including:

• Advising on regulatory frameworks, licensing and compliance, governance, and risk management.
• Drafting legislation and supporting governments and regulators in shaping financial market systems.
• Guiding clients on securities law, capital markets, asset management regulation, and market infrastructure.
• Advising on fintech, payments, and virtual asset frameworks.
• Leading high-value, often confidential mandates across multiple jurisdictions.
• Contributing to business development, thought leadership, and mentoring junior lawyers.

Key Requirements

• Qualified lawyer with 10+ years' PQE.
• Significant experience in securities and derivatives law/regulation.
• Strong knowledge of capital markets and asset management.
• Excellent client relationship and project management skills.
• Commercially minded, detail-focused, and collaborative.
