The role involves preparing forecasts, budgets, and financial statements, ensuring compliance with IFRS, coordinating with auditors, and driving process improvements within the finance function.

What You'll Do

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial forecasts
• Conduct variance analysis and explain key financial drivers to stakeholders
• Assist in the development and monitoring of annual budgets
• Ensure accurate accounting treatment of transactions in line with IFRS standards
• Oversee IFRS-compliant journal entries and account reconciliations
• Prepare and review financial statements including balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow
• Coordinate with external auditors to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
• Identify and implement improvements in financial processes, controls, and systems
• Stay updated on changes in IFRS standards and best practices in financial planning and analysis

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline (essential)
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent preferred
• Experience in preparing and analyzing IFRS-compliant financial statements
• Strong financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain financial data to non-financial stakeholders
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of tax compliance and corporate governance practices
