Job Description

As the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for:

• Reviewing daily data entry and posting the same in ERP. Ensuring the classification of expenses is correct.
• Reviewing the complete GL in ERP and ensuring the accuracy and correctness of transactions.
• Preparing the month end financial statements and submitting to HO.
• Ensuring daily data entry and posting of the transactions same day.
• Preparing other management reports such as admin report & staff cost.
• Reviewing all payment vouchers for suppliers and petty cash. Ensuring they are in compliance with SOPs.
• Key responsible person for internal and external audit assignments. Ensuring the smooth execution and completion of these assignments.
• Fixed asset register management, calculating periodic depreciation, addition of assets and correct accounting for disposal entries in ERP as per the Fixed Assets SOP.
• Daily reviewing customer balances to identify the outstanding receivables. Following the sales team for the timely recovery.
• Reviewing new customer credit applications and ensuring they are as per the Credit Control SOP.
• Supporting the GM for the preparation of in-house reports such as repairs, CAPEX requirements, material consumption etc.
• Reviewing petty cash expenses and ensuring cash is only used for the allowed expenses as per the Petty Cash SOP.
• Comparing the actual performance of BU with the budgeted and doing variance analysis.
• Controlling project budgets and recoveries
• Updating the legal dashboard and meeting the lawyer with BU Head to obtain updated information on legal and police cases.
