at Enerwhere will oversee all financial aspects of our business and drive the company's financial strategy and planning. He will be responsible for managing the financial actions of the company, including tracking cash flow, analyzing strengths and weaknesses, and proposing corrective actions.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Financial Planning and Strategy:
Develop and implement the company's financial goals, strategies, and budgets in alignment with organizational objectives. Monitor and evaluate financial performance, providing recommendations for improvement.
Financial Reporting and Analysis:
Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and forecasts. Analyze financial data, identify trends, and communicate insights to key stakeholders. Ensure adherence to accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
Coordinate the annual budgeting process and forecast financial outcomes. Monitor budget performance, identify variances, and implement corrective actions.
Cash Flow Management:
Oversee cash flow planning and ensure availability of adequate funds for operations and investments. Optimize working capital and manage risk associated with liquidity.
Financial Operations:
Establish and maintain effective internal controls and procedures for financial operations. Manage accounting functions, payroll, tax compliance, and financial audits.
Risk Management:
Identify and mitigate financial risks. Develop and maintain appropriate insurance coverage, evaluate investment opportunities, and manage relationships with financial institutions.
Team Leadership:
Lead and supervise the finance team, providing guidance and support. Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development among team members.
Strategic Partnerships:
Collaborate with senior management and other departments to drive financial success, support decision-making, and identify opportunities for growth and cost reduction.
Fundraising:
Assisting the CEO with future fundraise for the company including without limitation preparation of financial models, assistance with presentations
Banking:
Management of banking relationships and liaising with relationship managers to improve banking facilities available to the company.
ERP System and Software integration:
Development of plan for improvement of ERP integration with software and financial planning systems (such as investor model).
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. A master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is highly desirable.
Proven experience as a Finance Controller or in a similar senior finance role.
Strong knowledge of financial principles, regulations, and best practices.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
Proficiency in financial software and systems, including ERP systems and advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
Demonstrated leadership abilities with the aptitude to inspire and guide a team.
Effective communication skills to clearly convey financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
