Position Title: Financial Controller
Location: Dubai, UAE
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Financial Controller to oversee and manage the financial operations of our client based in Dubai. The ideal candidate must be Arabic-speaking, possess extensive Freezone knowledge, and have a strong background in taxation, transfer pricing, and financial compliance across the GCC region.
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all aspects of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
• Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close processes in compliance with IFRS.
• Oversee tax filings, VAT returns, and ensure compliance with UAE Corporate Tax regulations and other GCC tax laws.
• Implement and manage Transfer Pricing policies in line with OECD guidelines and local regulations.
• Ensure strict compliance with Freezone authority regulations and reporting requirements.
• Coordinate with auditors (internal and external) and tax advisors to ensure statutory requirements are met.
• Monitor internal controls and implement risk management procedures across finance operations.
• Support strategic planning through cost-benefit analysis, financial modeling, and investment evaluations.
• Drive automation and optimization of finance workflows and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
• Liaise with banks, legal advisors, and regulatory bodies as required.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA, ACCA, or CMA preferred.
• 1012 years of progressive experience in financial management, including Freezone and GCC tax exposure.
• In-depth knowledge of Transfer Pricing regulations, UAE Corporate Tax, and compliance standards.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, financial analysis, and reporting.
• Proven experience managing audits and regulatory inspections.
• Fluency in Arabic and English is mandatory.
• Proficient in ERP systems and financial tools (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
• High attention to detail, strategic mindset, and excellent communication skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• Currently based in Dubai or UAE with Freezone experience.
• Previous experience in a multinational or regionally active company.
• Able to work independently while coordinating with cross-functional teams and external advisors.
