Job Description

We are seeking an Experienced Financial Controller (FC) with UAE Hospitality industry Experience - preferably in 3/4 Star Hotels with IDS knowledge to join our Hotel.

As the Financial Controller (FC), you will oversee all financial aspects of the hotel's operations. You will manage the hotel's financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations. You will play a key role in driving financial strategy and enhancing profitability while maintaining our commitment to exceptional guest service.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the hotel's budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to financial goals. Prepare and present monthly financial statements, reports, and forecasts to hotel management and ownership. Analyze financial performance, identifying trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and internal policies, including tax filings. Work closely with department heads to monitor and manage expenses, ensuring alignment with budgetary goals. Oversee payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and inventory management functions. Implement and maintain effective financial controls and procedures. Collaborate with the General Manager to develop and execute financial strategies that drive revenue growth. Conduct training and support team members in financial literacy and budget management. Assist in asset management and long-term financial planning.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA or CMA preferred. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a financial controller or similar role, preferably within the hospitality industry. Strong understanding of hospitality financial principles, including revenue management, cost control, and key performance indicators (KPIs). Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Excel; experience with IDS is a plus. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments. High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
