Our client, a well-reputed conglomerate existing in the region for more than 2 decades, accentuating in multiple business diversifications is seeking to hire a Financial Controller to be based in Dubai.

\xc2\xb7 Conduct financial forecasting and variance analysis to provide insights into financial performance.

\xc2\xb7 Collaborate with department heads to align financial plans with operational goals.

Cost Management:

\xc2\xb7 Oversee and analyze manufacturing costs to identify areas for improvement.

\xc2\xb7 Implement cost control measures to optimize operational expenses. \xc2\xb7 Monitor inventory costs and ensure accurate valuation.

Financial Reporting:

\xc2\xb7 Prepare timely and accurate financial statements in accordance with accounting principles. \xc2\xb7

\xc2\xb7 Generate and analyze financial reports for management review.

\xc2\xb7 Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements.

Cash Flow Management:

\xc2\xb7 Manage and forecast cash flows to ensure liquidity and financial stability. \xc2\xb7 Optimize working capital and monitor cash conversion cycles.

\xc2\xb7 Implement cash management strategies to maximize returns on surplus funds.

Risk Management:

\xc2\xb7 Identify and assess financial risks affecting the manufacturing processes.

\xc2\xb7 Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.

\xc2\xb7 Stay informed about industry trends and regulatory changes impacting the business.

Internal Controls:

\xc2\xb7 Establish and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets.

\xc2\xb7 Conduct periodic audits to ensure compliance with policies and procedures. \xc2\xb7 Recommend and implement improvements to internal control systems.

Capital Expenditure:

\xc2\xb7 Evaluate the capital expenditure projects.

\xc2\xb7 Conduct financial analysis to support investment decisions.

\xc2\xb7 Monitor the performance of capital investments and report on ROI. FINANCIAL COMPLIANCE

\xc2\xb7 Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and accounting standards with

relevant Country\xe2\x80\x99s legal structure.

\xc2\xb7 Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits.

\xc2\xb7 Implement and maintain a robust system for financial compliance.

Financial System & Technology:

\xc2\xb7 Oversee the implementation and maintenance of financial systems.

\xc2\xb7 Leverage technology to enhance financial reporting and analysis capabilities.

\xc2\xb7 Stay current on advancements in financial software and tools.

Strategic Financial Planning:

\xc2\xb7 Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making.

\xc2\xb7 Collaborate with executive leadership to align financial strategies with overall business objectives.

\xc2\xb7 Participate in strategic planning sessions to contribute financial expertise.

Team Leadership & Development:

\xc2\xb7 Lead and develop a high-performing finance team.

\xc2\xb7 Provide coaching and mentorship to team members. \xc2\xb7 Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.

Supplier & Vendor Development:

\xc2\xb7 Collaborate with procurement to negotiate favorable terms with suppliers.

\xc2\xb7 Evaluate vendor performance and implement strategies to optimize vendor relationships.

\xc2\xb7 Ensure timely payments and adherence to contractual agreements.

Education And Experience:

\xc2\xb7 CA & CWA will be an added advantage.

\xc2\xb7 Minimum 10 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience with minimum 5 years in a similar position.

\xc2\xb7 Should have worked in a similar capacity for min 5 years in Steel Manufacturing industry.

\xc2\xb7 Experience in working on multiple legal entities under the Group.
