Job Description
Urgent requirement for Financial Controller to be based in London on a 6-12 month contract for a major Insurance Client.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the production and delivery of accurate, meaningful, and timely financial information for our UK entities in accordance with agreed standards and deadlines. The role will require strong leadership and management skills to provide guidance and support to the UK and Syndicate finance teams, both onshore and offshore.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the production and delivery of accurate, meaningful, and timely financial information for the UK entities.
- Ensure compliance with agreed standards and deadlines.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the UK and Syndicate finance teams.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver a high-quality service to business activities.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Ensure understanding and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide support to senior management on strategic initiatives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor\'s degree in accounting or finance.
- Qualified accountant ACA/ACCA, with significant years of post-qualified experience.
- Strong business process and control knowledge with an ability to use this knowledge to contribute to the UK syndicate finance strategy.
- Understanding of Syndicate reporting and accounting processes.
- Experience working in an onshore and outsourced finance model with successful work experience with outsourced parties.
- Track record of delivery in a transformational culture.
- Experience in facilitating and encouraging teamwork and developing people.
- Ability to think strategically with the confidence to challenge and influence.
- Experience of defining and delivering against insurance operations KPIs.
