We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Financial Controller to their strong finance team in Abu Dhabi. The Financial Controller will play a crucial role in ensuring the company\'s financial stability, overseeing financial operations, and providing strategic financial guidance to support our continued growth.

The Role

Financial Planning and Analysis:

• Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic decision-making.
• Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and financial reports for senior management and stakeholders.
• Conduct financial analysis to identify opportunities for cost reduction and revenue enhancement.

Financial Reporting:

• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with local regulations and international accounting standards.
• Ensure the integrity of financial data and maintain an organized system for financial records.

Risk Management:

• Monitor and manage financial risks, including market risks, credit risks, and liquidity risks.
• Implement risk mitigation strategies to safeguard the company\'s financial health.

Cash Flow Management:

• Oversee cash flow planning and management to meet operational needs and investment objectives.
• Optimize cash utilization and manage working capital efficiently.

Compliance and Audit:

• Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations.
• Coordinate and manage external audits and liaise with auditors.

Team Leadership:

• Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and professionalism.
• Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team skills and performance.

The Candidate

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including banks, regulatory authorities, and investors.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners.
• Qualifications:
• Bachelor\'s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. CPA/CA qualification is a must.
• Proven experience (5+ years) as a Financial Controller or similar role, in the investment or banking industry would only be accepted applicants.
• In-depth knowledge of financial principles, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements in the UAE.
• Strong analytical, leadership, and strategic planning skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in financial software and MS Office applications.
• Knowledge of Arabic language is advantageous.

Salary and Benefits

AED 45,000 - 55,000 a month + company benefits
