\xe2\x80\x8bCharterhouse is currently managing a search for an international commodities client, whom are in the process of looking to recruit a Financial Analyst for their Freight Trading operation.

About the role
Based out of the Dubai hub, this role will play a pivotal role in the support of the trading desks and overall business analysis of their freight operations, within the Middle East Office, to deliver key research, forecasting and financial reporting.

This role has been geared towards the oversight of market trends, prevailing economic conditions and pricing analysis; to support areas of trading, supply chain and shipping related activities for optimisation and allocation purposes.

This role shall also play a critical part, within the commercial support, through the development, roll out and update of financial models in support of both operational and internal forecasting processes. Within this fluid industry sector, these analytical and scenario models are instrumental to areas of business development, market coverage and cost optimisation.

About you
The client will look to recruit a professionally qualified and Degree educated candidate, whom is able to demonstrate both exposure to the analytical and technical components, whilst also having an insight and knowledge to either freight operations, logistics and/or commodity related sectors. The successful candidate will be able to present advanced financial modelling skills, through Excel, along with an ability to create and deliver strong reporting and/or business commentaries.

In conjunction, the successful candidate shall also present excellent communication skills, within the context of the industry and to the complement and support the operational dynamics of the organisation.
