The Financial Analyst is responsible for providing financial system operational support across the regional and hub finance teams. This will involve Revenue & OPEX side. The Analyst will perform a critical role in evaluating current models and templates and identifying improvements and efficiencies using their strong technical knowledge.

Responsibilities:

The role would be responsible for evaluating, designing, maintaining, and improving financial models to support the revenue, OPEX and incentives planning for CEMEA geographies. Manage ad hoc/monthly/quarterly/yearly analysis to be used by the Regional CFO, sub-regional teams, and all supported departments.
  • Support with Month end closing activities, analyzing results & proactively identify & communicate business implications of analysis
  • Evaluate existing models and templates and identify areas of opportunity for improvement and efficiencies.
  • Maintain revenue templates and models that facilitate planning and forecasting.
  • Lead the system integration and support across the regional and hub finance teams, communicate effectively new updates and improvements and managing the training of all users.
  • Work with the IT team to deliver and support the regional and hub teams with regards to financial systems, understand requirements and feedback from users and deliver enhancements across current work practices.
  • Support the team in analyzing business trends and assessing macroeconomic metrics and contribute to the development of complex models to be used in budgeting and forecasting.
  • Show initiative and creativity in the developing of solutions which are innovative, obtain input and feedback from appropriate users and manage the implementation and ongoing maintenance Own and execute cross-functional & geography expense/HC planning.
  • To coordinate information flow between Global, CEMEA and Regions, cascade targets, consolidate both top-down, and bottom-up process. Collaborate with other internal stakeholders (functions, Controllership and BPO teams) to ensure timely submissions and correct inputs for both HC and Operating Expenses
  • To manage the forecast and budget process for the geographies and functions, ensuring all finance business partners and cost center managers process their inputs and analytics in compliance with published deadlines and corporate guidelines. Facilitate OPEX materials consolidation and submission.
  • To consolidate ME activities and reporting, to provide analysis and insights about actual results.
  • Manage and facilitate business planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes for the designated Corporate Functions within CEMEA, ensuring the business teams deliver timely and realistic financial projection that aligns with corporate strategy and priorities.
  • Manage and consolidate ongoing reporting and review of financial performance with the finance leaders and functional teams, providing advice to help shape investments plans and re-prioritize funding.
  • To provide advisory and guidance to cost center managers so they are informed of their approved budgets, forecasts, and their commitment to budget, forecast on a continuous basis. To build and maintain relationships with cost center managers to ensure they are aware of budget forecasts timelines and data requirements and understand the need to adhere to them.
  • To contribute to Work-force planning, lead headcount reconciliations by working closely with the various HR teams
  • Ensure company policies and procedures are followed.
  • The flexibility to liaise with various functions both within Visa and externally to deliver ad hoc projects in timely manner.
  • Support with quarterly Incentives reporting
Teamwork:
  • The role is based on the CEMEA Hub, Dubai office, and reports into the CEMEA Revenue Director based in the same office
  • Actively contribute to the effectiveness of the team by supporting and co-operating with colleagues and providing cover during period of absence
  • The flexibility to liaise with various functions both within Visa and externally to deliver ad-hoc projects
  • This individual is expected to interact effectively with various levels of Visa management and their multi regional staff
  • Strong interpersonal skills will be required to address on-going needs of a complex, matrix reporting structure and multinational organization
  • Multicultural sensitivity and interpersonal relationship management skills are essential including the ability to work effectively as part of a team
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Finance, Economics, or related quantitative field
  • 2+ years of related Finance experience in a multinational organization
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products (Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of financial systems (TM1, Hyperion, etc.) is nice to have
  • Excellent communication, written and interpersonal skills and ability to clearly communicate results with senior level executives
  • Outstanding analytical and quantitative skills, able to resolve tough business problems with well-structured analyses
  • Exceptional report modeling and data management skills with the ability to work with large amounts of data and organize in a logical and efficient manner
  • Must be detail oriented to ensure accuracy and quality of output
  • Ability to work effectively with cross functional teams and produce and coordinate time sensitive deliverables
  • Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines
  • Excellent organization, prioritization, and multi-tasking skills
