Job Description

ChampionX has an immediate need for a Financial Analyst based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. The role is responsible for supporting the Supply Chain finance activities which include business partnering, monthly reporting and analysis for assigned country(ies) in the region. The role will add value through innovation and deep dive analysis behind the business drivers. The role is highly dynamic, has high visibility and will interact with teams across time zones. The incumbent should be able to build good interpersonal relations and have system and indicators in place to measure business behavior on an ongoing basis.

What You Will Do:

Follow safety policies to provide a safe workplace for all employees and supports the guiding principles of Goal Zero to continually improve the plant's safety, health and environmental performance.

Manage individually and through their team all accounting procedures related to Supply Chain operations including review of Capital Authorization Requests, inventory controls and reconciliations.

Support and assist in monthly reporting, Financial Planning & Analysis activities, monthly forecast processes and annual plan processes with multiple stakeholders.

Establish budgeting process and procedures for all functions as well as coordinate development of department budgets with managers.

Provide supplementary data to support budget preparation including detailed Activity Rate development to ensure plant expenses are fully absorbed.

Ensure a strong internal controls environment -assure policies are being followed in accordance with Sarbanes Oxley, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and Corporate Policy

Maintain required systems and procedures, which monitor the effectiveness of plant operations.

Ensure monthly standard costs are correct working with the Global Shared Services Team, Procurement and the Plant Engineers.

Maintain inventory controls and monitor cycle count processes, including monitoring/ensuring all materials are counted in plants and warehousing locations.

Play an integral part in Implementation of management reporting/continuous improvement initiatives.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

A full time MBA from a leading B-school and/or professional qualification (ACA/ ACCA/ CIMA)

Must have a minimum of 6 years relevant experience where the past 2 to 3 years must in business partnering / Financial Planning & Analysis

Ideal candidate will have FP&A and/or commercial finance experience in a multinational company.

Conversant with use of ERPs (SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards) and consolidation systems (HFM/Hyperion/Essbase). Expert Excel user.

Proactive and deadline driven.

Strong verbal and written communication skills

The candidate must be based in the Saudi and has experience in this region.

Support process / systems improvement initiatives.

Perform special projects to support the business as required.

Any other duties commensurate with the grade and level of responsibility of this post, for which the post holder has the necessary experience and/or training.
