About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly analytical Financial Analyst to join our Finance team. In this role, you will support strategic and tactical decision-making by tracking the companys financial performance, developing forecasts, conducting business analytics, and preparing key financial reports and models. You will collaborate cross-functionally and play a pivotal role in budget planning, investment appraisals, and financial due diligence for business growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide cross-functional planning support, including business plans, cost-benefit analyses, project investment appraisals, and capital expenditure evaluations.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets in alignment with organizational guidelines and timelines.
  • Coordinate with departments to manage and consolidate financial data for accurate and timely reporting.
  • Submit monthly MIS reports and ad-hoc financial analyses, including key metrics, financial results, and variance reports.
  • Perform variance analysis, identify performance trends, and offer improvement recommendations in consultation with the Finance Manager.
  • Investigate and report financial discrepancies requiring management attention.
  • Maintain and update internal financial reporting tools; troubleshoot with the IT and Finance teams as needed.
  • Prepare detailed monthly variance analyses by Business Unit and Department, including written narrative justifications.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting procedures and maintain organized financial records.
  • Support financial due diligence for mergers and acquisitions (M&A).
  • Build and maintain dynamic financial models with scenario and sensitivity analysis for strategic planning.
  • Propose operational and financial improvements, including budget optimization and cost-saving strategies.
  • Collaborate with Business Analysis and ERP teams to fulfill reporting requirements.
  • Assess and communicate the financial impact of changes or customizations within ERP and reporting systems.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Finance Manager.
Qualifications:
Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting (mandatory)
  • Professional Certifications preferred: CMA, CIMA, CPA, ACCA, ACA, or CFA
  • Master's Degree in Finance or Accounting is an added advantage
Experience:
  • Minimum of 3 years in Financial Reporting, Planning, Budgeting, and Analysis
  • Hands-on experience with MS Dynamics 365 ERP is essential
Knowledge & Skills:
  • Proficient in Dynamics 365 (all modules); Power BI for Dynamics experience is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of project finance, financial modeling, and international reporting standards
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and Accounting
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
