The Role
We are a dynamic and rapidly growing pharmaceutical company seeking a skilled and experienced Financial/Accounting Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in managing all financial aspects, ensuring compliance with regulations, and contributing to the overall success of our company. Key Responsibilities: Financial Planning and Analysis: \xe2\x80\xa2 Develop and implement financial strategies, plans, and forecasts. \xe2\x80\xa2 Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations for improvement. \xe2\x80\xa2 Monitor and report on financial performance against budget. Accounting Management: \xe2\x80\xa2 Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. \xe2\x80\xa2 Implement and maintain internal controls. Budget Management: \xe2\x80\xa2 Prepare and manage the annual budget in collaboration with other departments. \xe2\x80\xa2 Monitor budget variances and provide explanations. Cash Flow Management: \xe2\x80\xa2 Manage cash flow and optimize liquidity. \xe2\x80\xa2 Forecast and manage working capital requirements. Financial Compliance: \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations. \xe2\x80\xa2 Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits. Taxation: \xe2\x80\xa2 Oversee tax planning and compliance. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensure accurate and timely filing of all tax returns. Financial Reporting and KPIs: \xe2\x80\xa2 Create, write, and report financial statements. \xe2\x80\xa2 Develop and maintain financial Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Operational Optimization: \xe2\x80\xa2 Identify and report to upper management areas within the company operations that are still optimizable for more efficient operations. \xe2\x80\xa2 Rapidly provide data and information to upper management for any financial decision-making issues and concerns.

Requirements
Qualifications and Skills: \xe2\x80\xa2 Bachelor\'s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. MBA/CPA is a plus. \xe2\x80\xa2 Minimum of 7+ years of experience as a Financial/Accounting Manager, with at least 3 years in the UAE. \xe2\x80\xa2 Proven experience in the pharmaceutical or related industry. \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong understanding of financial regulations and accounting principles. \xe2\x80\xa2 Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. \xe2\x80\xa2 Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite. \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
