Job Role: Devotion Corporate Services

is looking for a dedicated and skilled Financial Accountant with comprehensive knowledge of UAE taxation and compliance, specifically VAT and Corporate Tax. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring full compliance with all relevant UAE tax laws and regulations of our Clients. This role requires a meticulous individual with strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to financial management.

Job Responsibilities:

UAE VAT Management:

Ensure accurate and timely preparation and submission of VAT returns. Maintain robust documentation for VAT compliance, including tax invoices, credit notes, and debit notes. Advise on VAT implications for various business transactions and new initiatives. Stay updated on all amendments and changes to UAE VAT law and advise the management accordingly. Handle VAT audits and queries from the Federal Tax Authority (FTA).

UAE Corporate Tax Management:

Assist in the preparation of corporate tax computations and ensure timely submission of tax returns once applicable. Maintain records and documentation required for corporate tax compliance. Advise on the corporate tax implications of business decisions and structures. Monitor developments in UAE Corporate Tax law and provide updates and recommendations to management. Support in handling corporate tax assessments and inquiries from the FTA. Ensure compliance with all other relevant UAE regulatory requirements. Assist in the development and implementation of new accounting policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CA) is highly desirable. Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a financial accounting role, with significant exposure to UAE taxation.

Proven hands-on experience and in-depth knowledge of UAE VAT law and practical application is essential.

Demonstrable understanding of UAE Corporate Tax law and its implications is crucial.

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., [mention specific software like QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, Zoho Books]) and MS Excel.
