About the Role
Our client specializes in Oil & Gas Shipping, and they are looking for a Finance Operations Specialist to support our oil trading and shipping activities in Dubai. The role focuses on ship-owning operations, shipping market fixtures, and trading support. You will coordinate closely between operations and treasury teams, track voyage costs, and prepare financial reports without direct payment execution or LC handling.
Key Responsibilities
- Support shipping market fixtures and voyage cost tracking.
- Reconcile vessel-related expenses and prepare voyage P&L reports.
- Coordinate between operations and treasury on cash flow and settlements.
- Prepare financial reports, forecasts, and performance analyses.
- Liaise with Russian-speaking clients, brokers, and suppliers.
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
- 3-5 years' experience in shipping, oil trading, or commodity finance.
- Fluent in Russian & English (written and spoken).
- Strong Excel skills and familiarity with ERP/financial systems.
- Excellent coordination, analytical, and communication skills.
