The purpose of this role is to manage all aspects of Finance and operations within the department, manage day-to-day queries on key KPIs, streamline processes related to business analysis, act as a business partner and ensure controls compliance.
Major duties and responsibilities
Gather and analyze variance in key KPI details on a regular basis- to report to Advisory leadership and business units.
Pro-active approach to highlight potential issues and impact on revenues & costs.
Act as the control point by working closely on budgets with the operations, finance, business, and leadership to ensure targets are kept in line with budget goals.
Analyze weekly Billing / Collections /Revenue status reports and share insights to improve performance.
Responsible for MIS related queries - Direct cost, Revenue, Operational Expenses, Provisions, respond to audit queries and monthly forecasts.
Prepare key sections related to month end MIS reports and Board packs.
Develop and maintain dashboards and other simplified and easy to use information for stakeholders at all levels including KPIs for SLLs and partners.
Carry out month-end procedures.
Work independently and develop solid understanding of the business to be able to provide guidance.
Manage and execute projects that are undertaken by the department.
Drive continuous development of the Systems platform toward greater automation.
Coordinate the preparation of ad hoc reports requested by management based on information gathered from several different sources and put together in a coherent, easily understandable format.

Education requirements:
Minimum Bachelor\'s degree in a Finance / Accounting.
Master\'s Degree with accounting qualification (Preferable)
Work experience requirements:
Minimum of 10 yrs experience in a finance operation\'s practice within a professional services Firm.
