Job Description

Job Title: Finance Operations Manager : We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Operations to lead our financial operations and oversee the tender management process within our organization. In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing financial functions, ensuring regulatory compliance, and successfully managing the end-to-end tender process. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, accounting, and extensive experience in tender management. Financial Planning and Analysis: ? Develop and implement financial strategies, budgets, and forecasts. ? Conduct comprehensive financial analysis to evaluate the organization's performance and identify opportunities for improvement. ? Provide strategic recommendations to senior management based on financial insights and analysis. ? Monitor key financial metrics, including revenue, expenses, and profitability, and communicate results to stakeholders. ? Identify cost reduction initiatives and implement appropriate measures to enhance profitability. Accounting and Reporting: ? Oversee all aspects of the accounting function, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll. ? Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, reports, and regulatory filings. ? Establish and maintain effective internal controls and compliance with accounting standards and regulations. ? Manage the annual audit process and collaborate with external auditors. ? Provide guidance on complex accounting issues and ensure adherence to accounting policies and procedures. Cash Flow Management: ? Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity for operational needs. ? Develop and implement cash management strategies, including forecasting and cash flow projections. ? Optimize working capital by assessing and managing accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. ? Identify opportunities to improve cash flow efficiency and implement suitable cash management solutions. Tender Management: ? Lead and manage the end-to-end tender process, including tender identification, preparation, submission, and negotiation. ? Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify potential tender opportunities. ? Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and develop winning tender responses. ? Review and prepare tender documents, ensuring compliance with requirements and deadlines. ? Evaluate and analyze tender results, negotiate terms and conditions with clients, and secure contracts. Risk Management: ? Identify and assess financial risks, including market, credit, and operational risks. ? Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and internal controls. ? Monitor compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements. ? Ensure data security and integrity in financial operations and systems. ? Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and address operational risks and process improvements. ? Team Leadership and Development: ? Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals, providing guidance and support. ? Foster a collaborative and high-performing work environment. ? Set performance goals, conduct performance evaluations, and provide feedback. ? Identify training and development needs, and coordinate relevant training initiatives. Qualifications: ? Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or CPA/CMA certification is preferred. ? Proven experience in financial operations management, including financial planning and analysis, accounting, and risk management. ? Strong knowledge of financial principles, regulations, and best practices. ? Extensive experience in tender management, including identification, preparation, submission, and negotiation. ? Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. ? Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems. ? Excellent leadership and team management abilities. ?
