Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager with deep expertise in IFRS 17 to lead financial reporting, compliance, and audit processes for a dynamic insurance environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Validate and review insurance contract accounting, reconciling claims and reserves with actuarial inputs.
- Prepare financial statements under IFRS 4 and IFRS 17 standards.
- Lead quarterly and annual CBUAE regulatory reporting, including solvency capital requirements.
- Prepare and submit XBRL and DOH regulatory filings.
- Provide financial insights for forecasts and budgeting exercises.
- Collaborate with actuarial teams to validate outputs and explain key movements in financial and solvency metrics.
- Work with IT and actuarial teams to integrate IFRS 17 data models into finance systems.
- Maintain robust documentation and audit trails; liaise with external auditors.
- 7+ years of experience in the insurance sector.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS 17 and financial reporting.
- CA / ACCA / IFRS Diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Experience managing cross-functional finance projects and teams.
- Advanced analytical and technical skills.
