Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to oversee and strengthen the financial operations of our trading company in Dubai. This role goes beyond accounting -- we need a strategic leader who can ensure compliance, optimize financial performance, and guide our finance team toward excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Finance Operations Management:

Oversee day-to-day finance and accounting operations. Supervise banks, accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), general ledger, and payroll. Ensure timely closure of accounts and preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Compliance & Controls

Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (VAT, Corporate Tax, WPS, etc.). Develop and implement finance policies, SOPs, and internal control frameworks. Coordinate external audits and manage audit-related documentation. Monitor adherence to company policies and risk management guidelines.
Strategic Financial Planning

Develop budgets, forecasts, and financial plans; perform variance analysis. Oversee cash flow management, liquidity planning, banking relationships, and payment cycles. Conduct financial analysis to support business decisions, new projects, and cost optimization.
Leadership & Team Development

Lead, train, and mentor the finance team. Allocate workload effectively and ensure high-quality deliverables. Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and financial transactions.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master's or professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, CMA preferred) Minimum 7-10 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role. Strong knowledge of UAE statutory requirements (VAT, Corporate Tax, WPS). Proven experience in general trading or import/export industries. Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to balance hands-on financial management with strategic oversight.
