The Role
We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join our dynamic team with a minimum of 10 years UAE experience in an Industrial company. The Finance Manager will play a pivotal role in managing the financial health of the company, ensuring effective financial planning, analysis, and reporting, while contributing to strategic decision-making. Key responsibilities and accountabilities include: Financial Planning and Analysis: - Develop and maintain financial models to forecast company performance. - Analyze financial data and provide insights to support strategic planning and decision-making. - Monitor key financial metrics and communicate trends to senior management. Management Accounting and Cost Control: - Have full command of all the various costs involved in the cost of manufactured goods and ensure all are accounted for in the company ERP system including variable and overhead costs - Establish Robust cost controls including standard costings and variances - Monitor Bill of Materials costs and take necessary actions to manage cost of materials - Plan and manage plant capacity to ensure the right product mix are produced Financial Reporting: - Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. - Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. Cash Flow Management: - Manage cash flow and liquidity by optimizing working capital and coordinating with banks and financial institutions. - Develop strategies to minimize financial risk. Risk Management: - Identify and assess financial risks, implement risk mitigation strategies, and maintain an effective internal control environment. - Manage customer credit application and make recommendations as appropriate Team Leadership: - Supervise and mentor a team of financial professionals, providing guidance and support in their daily activities. - Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement within the finance department. - Collaborate with other managers and peers to ensure seamless and efficient working environment Financial Compliance: - Ensure compliance with taxation, auditing, and reporting requirements. - Ensure VAT and corporate taxes are filed and paid within statuary deadlines - Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies as needed. ERP and other systems management - Ensure full utilisation of the company Enterprise Resource Planning software and ensure all processes are managed within the system

Requirements

• Bachelor\'s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA or CA preferred). - Minimum 10 years experience in the UAE as a Finance Manager or similar role in an industrial setting. - Strong analytical, financial modeling, and data analysis skills. - Excellent knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards. - Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems. - Strong leadership and communication skills. - Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and integrity. - Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
