Finance Manager

Job Description

. Implement Board visions through business conduct to achieve profitable operation and secure continuity and growth of the company.

. Total responsibilities for the financial function and operation of the company including audit (statutory & internal & AUP), consolidation of financial, valuations and financial modelling.

. Implement all policies and procedure set-out by the Board of Directors.

. Ensure that the company's structure is aligned to the company's business strategy.

. Prepare an annual business plan and be responsible to meet the forecasted budget, cash flow and profit.

. Monitor the business operation and keep the Board informed of any critical issues.

. Ensure that suitable management systems are in place to achieve the budget and quality constraints.

. Manage business risk throughout all aspects of the company's activities.

. Manage relationship with banks, institutions towards borrowing and banking requirement of the company.

. Development financial projection as required for borrowing, public offering, REITs, etc.

. Develop business relationships with strategic partners.

. Develop internal systems, procedures and practices in line with the group standards and designed to continuality enhance the efficiency of the company's activities.

. Ensure that throughout all areas of the company's activities such as business development, planning, legal, finance, IT, etc. are well coordinated to ensure that the management system is in place to achieve company strategy and target.

. Obtain the Board's approval for all major company activities such as new ventures, financial commitments, assets purchasing and key staff hiring and appraisals.

. Provide training and development performance evaluation and appraisals to the staff to enhance qualifications, motivations and belonging to the company (people are the assets).

. Develop & Implement and ensure that suitable management systems are in place to achieve the budget and quality constraints.

. Develop & Implement internal systems, procedures and practices in line with the group standards and designed to continuality enhance the efficiency of the company's activities.

. Develop & Implement information & data on Oman economy, GDP, sectoral and segment reporting, competition etc.

. Provide training and development performance evaluation and appraisals to the staff to enhance qualifications, motivations and belonging to the company (people are the assets).

. Building and implementing IFRS 9, 15 and 16 model and its follow up.

. Develop and implement valuation model and coordinate with valuation firms in line with IFRS 13.

Requirements

. 10+ years experience

. Must be Chartered Accountant (CA preferred, CPA, ACCA)

. Bachelor of Degree (B.Com preferred)

. MBA (added advantage)

. Working with Big 4 as statutory audit team preferred

. Good understanding of accounting standards applicable for Construction Industry as per IFRS and recent implication of IFRS 9, 13, 15 and 16

. Good understanding of VAT compliance and its implementation

. Good understanding of Oman Tax calculation and its compliance

. Excellent advance excel and power point skills
