About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Finance Manager to lead the financial operations of our dynamic IT distribution business for the GCC Division. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance within inventory-heavy environments and demonstrate the ability to drive strategic decision-making through financial insights. This is a newly created position due to significant expansion plans and the candidate should be available in UAE and be able to start immediately.

Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Ensure compliance with IFRS and internal financial policies. Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and journal entries. Monitor, analyze, and control operational and overhead expenses. Control country office expenses on a continuous basis, ensuring adherence to budget and cost-efficiency targets. Ensure all expenses are incurred on a pre-approved basis and within budget, and proactively highlight any exceptions or overruns to management. Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans. Ensure proper follow-up and reconciliation of vendor rebates, coordinating closely with purchasing and sales teams. Prepare and present segmental profitability reports on a quarterly basis, analyzing performance by product, vendor, customer segment, or region. Liaise with external auditors during audits and implement audit recommendations. Supervise and mentor junior accounting and finance team members. Maintain strong professional relationships with banks, auditors, and other stakeholders. Provide ad hoc financial analysis and support to the Director of Finance and Executive Team. Actively contribute to corporate tax planning in compliance with UAE tax regulations. Ensure timely and accurate filing of VAT returns. Ensure proper follow up and reconciliation of vendor rebates. Control the country office expenses on a continuous basis.

Qualifications

CA / ACCA / CIMA qualified.


8-10 years of progressive experience in finance, preferably within the IT distribution or Trading sector.


Preferred Skills


Solid understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).


Proficient in financial modeling, reporting tools, and ERP systems.


Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.


Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
