Looking for a Finance Manager with strong F&B background!
As a part of Senior Leadership team, Finance Manager will have a primary responsibility of planning, implementation, managing and running of all the finance activities of the company, including business planning, budgeting, forecasting etc. and thus protect the company\xe2\x80\x99s revenues and profits to achieve full financial control and sustainable growth. You will guarantee the reliability, integrity and quality of financial data through expertise in Finance standards and practices. Your role includes assisting Operations team in weekly and monthly review, identification of areas for cost reductions and operational improvements, annual budgeting process, periodic forecasting, and periodic analysis of operations performance, information analysis (e.g. current processes, actual performance vs. budget and prior year, budget, etc.), preparation of operational data/analysis for publication to various constituents throughout company (Corporate Office, Stores, Commissary etc.) who rely on/benefit from the information to make informed business decisions.
The role requires thorough accounting knowledge and understanding including but not limited to P/L, Balance Sheets, and Cash flow. The ability to communicate well with the business leaders and manage the finance team is important.
Role & Responsibilities:
  • Prepare monthly analysis of cost of goods sold and operational expenses against previous costing and budget, providing explanations and business solutions to help mitigate the risks.
  • Partner with product management and Purchasing Team in determining financial impact due to product cost reductions, new product roll out, etc. and prepare periodic forecasts to update management on projected results.
  • Analyze financial performance against key business metrics and document pertinent financial highlights that will enable management to determine progress against budgets.
  • Identify, investigate, and analyze potential operational improvement. As appropriate, based on findings make proposal for operational changes (policy, procedures, processes, etc.)
  • Fulfill responsibilities under OHSAS 18001/ ISO 45001, understand and fully support OHSAS 18001/ ISO 45001 system.
  • Responsible for legal intricacies, DED, WPS, Trade and business licensing.

Preferred Skills & Experience Required:
  • Experience with F&B operations is a must
  • CPA or MBA preferred.
  • Experience in managing a team of 2 or more.
  • Strong experience in income statement analysis.
  • Advanced Excel & Tally skills, ability to work with lookups and pivot tables.
  • Experience with Oracle Financial Analyzer or equivalent, and Business Intelligence, a plus.
  • Strong organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
