Job Description

Finance Manager Responsibilities:
  • Providing leadership, direction and management of the finance and accounting team
  • Providing strategic recommendations to the CEO/president and members of the executive management team
  • Managing the processes for financial forecasting and budgets, and overseeing the preparation of all financial reporting
  • Advising on long-term business and financial planning
  • Establishing and developing relations with senior management and external partners and stakeholders
  • Reviewing all formal finance, HR and IT related procedures
  • Develop and execute the company\xe2\x80\x99s business strategies in order to attain goals
  • Provide strategic advice to the board and Chairperson
  • Prepare and implement comprehensive business plans
  • Plan cost-effective operations and market development activities
  • Establish company policies and legal guidelines
  • Build long term, trusting relationships with shareholders, business partners and authorities
  • Oversee the company\xe2\x80\x99s financial performance, investments and other business ventures
  • Supervise the work of executives providing guidance and motivation to drive maximum performance
  • Ensure a positive work environment
  • Ensure performance appraisal, training and professional development activities
  • Reward performance, prevent issues and resolve problems
  • Execute public speaking and representational appearances in a professional manner
  • Analyze problematic situations and occurrences and provide solutions to ensure company survival and growth
  • Further develop and enhance company culture
Job qualifications and requirements The role of Finance Manager is very senior, hence a high level of experience is expected for anyone applying for this role. A Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in the following will be expected for this role:
  • Accounting
  • Finance or Economics
An MBA or CPA is also highly desirable. At least 10 years\' experience in the finance industry and managing a team is a must \xe2\x80\x93 with examples of when they have demonstrated excellence in the workplace. A Finance Manager must display a cohesive ability at interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and written. They must be able to engage with staff at all levels of the organisation and exercise sound judgement. Job Type: Full-time Salary: AED5,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month Ability to commute/relocate:
  • Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
