1. Responsible for overall operational and financial activities of the accountancy department, such as business planning, budgeting, forecasting, reviewing vouchers/bank receipts, handling petty cash, managing cash flow, andoverseeing full accounting cycle as well as general ledger. 2. Responsible for AP/AR, and reconciliations. Produce, evaluate, and present quarterly/semi-annual/annual financial packages under IFRS/GAAP, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flows. 3. Compare actuals to budget, projection, and previous year, and investigate notable deviations. 4. Direct monthly financial closure process by checking/approving journal entries, ageing AP/AR, reconciling accounts and analysing balance sheet trends and analytics. 5. Act as liaison with external auditors, legal & IT on overall internal control framework and ensure compliance with applicable local laws in UAE. 6. Maintaining open lines of communication with UAE-based real estate firms to gain more favourable rental terms on a national scale. 7. Lead and supervise the finance department\'s team, which includes input tax work and associated filing of vat returns, collection, and unpaid fee reports. 8. Ensured financial systems were robust, compliant, and updated and supported current activities and future growth. 9. Responsible for supervising accounting software for recording transactions, controlling the overall accounting system, and ensuring compliance with accounting conventions and taxation. 10. Identify different technical difficulties and report to upper management and developer to overcome and resolve ley ways for internal control reasons by conducting an in-depth analysis of cloud base fee management software. 11. Verified the accuracy of financial reports in line with reporting standards as applicable in an economic environment by carrying out an extensive assessment of assets and liabilities. Requirements 1. Audit background with reputable firm 2. Hand on experience in the application of GAAP-IAS/IFRS 3. In dept knowledge of VAT compliance and expected corporate Tax in UAE 4. Professional qualification ICA / ACCA / ICAEW / CPA 5. Hands on experience in IFRS 15 & 16 6. Hands on experience in MIS reporting 7. Good working experience in MS office package 8.
