FINANCE MANAGER
Job Purpose:
Ensure integrity and accuracy of all financial operations within the healthcare including strategic and operational financial planning, monitoring and reporting activities.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Establish the short and long-term strategy for the division, translate it into business plans with objectives and performance indicators and report on the progress of activities against those plans to measure success to support the achievement of strategic objectives.
  • Build and lead a motivated, engaged and competent manpower throughout the division, by setting priorities and objectives, managing performance, and providing ongoing feedback and coaching to improve performance.
  • Collaborate with Human Resources in the development of the division’s manpower plan to ensure timely and best-of-class delivery of tasks.
  • Prepare and recommend the division’s budget in alignment to the respective annual business plan and ensure proper cascading into departmental budgets.
  • Deliver both financial and cross departmental metrics required to monitor and maintain successful plan achievement. Ensure processes and systems are in place to monitor and report against these metrics and overall plan achievement
  • Review monthly results with the appropriate level of the management team to enhance their understanding of the financial results.
  • Ensure financial reporting is done in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Ensure that all accounting and operational controls are in place to properly monitor and protect the assets of the organization.
  • Review and monitor the design and effectiveness of internal controls over financial reporting to ensure that the organization remains compliant with all appropriate accounting regulations.
  • Work with the external auditors and internal auditors as per the company regulations
  • Ensure that the month/quarter/year-end closing processes and reconciliations are completed to ensure all requirements of internal controls and as per the accreditations are met.
  • Manage the budgeting and forecasting processes, and partner with the Management and Leadership team on the development of the healthcare’s Strategic Plan.
  • Monitor and track all finance driven organizational objectives and develop metrics to monitor performance.
  • Enhance the accounting processes surrounding AP&AR, Payroll, and drive improvement into the accounting system.
  • Manage the development, implementation of and compliance to business unit policies, systems, processes and procedures, identifying potential areas of improvement, to ensure an efficient and effective operation.

  • Assists management in decision making with financial feasibility analysis.
  • Steering efforts to maximize the ROI.

Role requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Finance with healthcare Industry (required)
  • Minimum 5 years at Managerial level in which 3 years in GCC (Preferred)
  • CA / ACCA/CMA certifications (Required).
  • Managerial experience with strong analytical skills, good strategic thinking, excellent communication skills, exceptional numerical proficiency, excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Should have a strong background in Finance, Financial Planning & Budgeting, Business Development (Strategic), and an understanding of local businesses practices and commercial trends.
  • He / She should develop effective financial strategies, guide efforts towards financial stability, monitor all financial activities, promote revenue growth, ensure compliance with accounting regulations, and maintain good relationships with investors
