  • Designation: Finance Manager
  • Job Grade: H07/H09 Band
  • Reporting to: Chief Financial Officer - CFO
  • Location: 3rd Settlement, New Cairo, Kattamia (Industrial Area), Cairo.
Job Purpose: We are looking for a professional Finance Manager that will analyze every day financial activities and subsequently provide advice and guidance to leadership and management team on future financial plans. The goal is to enable the company's leaders to make sound business decisions and meet the company's objectives. A. General Responsibilities:
  • Provide support to operations group, through information analyses (e.g. current processes, actual performance vs. budget and prior year, budget, etc.)
  • Preparation of operational data/analyses for publication to various constituents throughout company (Management, Sales, Product Management, Operations, etc.) who rely on/benefit from the information to make informed business decisions
  • Primary responsibilities will include assisting the management team in the Periodical Operations Review, identification of areas for cost reductions and operational improvements, annual budget process, periodic forecasting, and periodic analysis of operations performance
B. Specific Responsibilities:
  • Prepare monthly analysis of cost of goods sold and operational expenses against prior year and budget, providing explanations and business solutions to help mitigate the risks
  • Advise on investment activities and provide strategies that the company should take
  • Partner with Product Management and Purchasing Team in determining financial impact due to product cost reductions, new product roll out, etc. and prepare periodic forecasts to update management on projected results
  • Analyze financial performance against key business metrics and document pertinent financial highlights that will enable management to determine progress against budgets.
  • Identify, investigate, and analyze potential operational improvement. As appropriate, based on findings make proposal for operational changes (policy, procedures, processes, etc.)
  • Understand and follow company rules and regulations
  • Perform all other duties as assigned and required
  • Provide financial reports and interpret financial information to managerial staff while recommending further courses of action
  • Overall supervision of financial accounting AP, AR, FA, and GL
  • Lead the implementation and effective execution of the newly applied ERP system
  • Oversee the production of key financial statements and coordinate completion of internal and annual statutory audits as per agreed schedules, in order to ensure company compliance with statutory reporting requirements and obligations
  • Seek out methods for minimizing financial risk to the company by applying a professional risk assessment and mitigation methodologies
  • Research and analyze financial reports and market trends
  • Provide insightful information and expectations to senior executives to aid in long-term and short-term decision making
  • Perform a variety of advanced financial analyses to determine present and forecasted financial health of the company
  • Use financial modeling to simulate financial scenarios and enable decisions making
  • Examine financial and legal documents to verify accuracy and adherence to financial regulations and acceptable financial principles
C. Education And Experience Requirements:
  • Four years of experience in a similar position; experience with operations preferred
  • Sound professional qualification like CPA, CMA, MBA, etc is desired
  • Have a flare for numbers, work well with people, aggressively anticipate impacts of workload/issues to team deadlines and have a very positive work attitude including willing to work some longer hours during peak periods
  • Strong experience in income statement analysis
  • Advanced Excel skills, ability to work with lookups and pivot tables
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Experience with Oracle Financial Analyzer or equivalent, and Business Intelligence, a plus
  • Strong organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Self motivated to learn new concepts and participate in new projects
  • Experience in ERP implementation
