Position Overview
Al-Futtaim Group Real Estate is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to oversee financial reporting, compliance, forecasting, and planning for its Dubai Festival City and wider AFGRE portfolio. This leadership role requires expertise in IFRS, financial analysis, and stakeholder reporting, combined with strong business acumen in the real estate and property development sector. The Finance Manager will ensure accurate financial operations, support strategic decision making, and maintain high standards of transparency and compliance.
Core Duties

• Manage the preparation of financial statements, ensuring compliance with IFRS and corporate accounting policies
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting cycles including bridge reports, flash reports, and management accounts
• Support auditors with complete audit packs, schedules, and reconciliations to ensure timely sign-off
• Conduct loan covenant testing, equity cure calculations, and provide detailed cash flow forecasting for individual entities and consolidated portfolios
• Oversee the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and long-term business plans, ensuring accurate uploads into SAP and BPC systems
• Provide strategic financial insight at management reviews and planning sessions with department heads
• Contribute to process improvements, automation, and system enhancements for efficiency and accuracy
• Guide and mentor the Financial Planning and Analysis team, ensuring objectives are met and staff development is supported
• Produce compliance and stakeholder reports for regulators, bankers, and group leadership on a regular basis
• Collaborate with treasury to prepare weekly, monthly, and annual group cash flow forecasts
• Act as financial partner to business units, ensuring accurate and timely decision support through management reporting

Candidate Requirements

• Post-graduate degree in accounting, commerce, or finance
• Professional knowledge of IFRS, IAS, and international reporting standards
• Strong skills in financial statement preparation, reporting, and ERP systems; SAP experience preferred
• Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to manage diverse portfolios and motivate teams
• Ability to present complex financial issues to non-finance stakeholders in a clear and logical way
• Minimum of 8 years of finance and accounting experience, including 4 years in real estate or property development at a managerial level
• Certifications in real estate or property management from Dubai Real Estate Institute are an advantage
