Abu Dhabi, UAE SALARY: 25,000 AED - 30,000 AED PER: Month TERM: Permanent

Finance Manager

Reporting to Financial Controller

The Finance Manager will be responsible for key areas of the finance function, including General ledger management (including managing month/year end closing), reporting, and ensuring integrity and compliance with internal and external rules and regulations.


  • Prepare monthly/quarterly/yearly financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement)
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize cash flows and implement strategies.
  • Responsible for month end/ quarter end and year end closing activities.
  • Familiar with local financial and taxation policies, independently handle tax planning and local tax declaration, submission of audit reports to local authorities, reports to relevant economic departments, and more.
  • Communicate and coordinate with tax authorities, banks, insurance companies and other financial institutions.
  • Coordination with internal/external audits around all areas where necessary, and generally to support the Financial Controller.
  • Responsible for document verification and ensuring the accuracy of accounting and tax compliance, as well as budget management.
  • Coordination with legal advisors for agreements etc.
  • Ensures compliance with internal controls and policies as well as regulatory and statutory requirements. \xe2\x80\xa2 Prepare and process month end close entries to ensure all business transactions are accurately recorded. \xe2\x80\xa2 Assist the Financial Controller in the development for the finance function.
  • Efficiently manage department\'s information and documents
  • Review of accounting done by juniors.
  • Supports financial planning and forecasting, reporting and other analysis.
  • Ad-hoc requests from management
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:

Educational Qualifications:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
Professional Qualifications:
  • CPA, ACA, CMA or ACCA
Years of Experience:

Minimum 8 - 10 years\' experience in a similar role within investment firms or similar organisations.

Knowledge, Skills & Competencies
  • Solid knowledge of basic and advanced accounting, financial principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Must have leadership and team management skills
  • UAE experience is a must.
  • Proficiency with Oracle NetSuite or other Oracle ERP systems
  • Ability to work independently and under stress to deliver projects in a punctual manner and to the established standard.
  • High technical knowledge of IFRS
