Our client, one of the fastest growing banks in the UAE is currently searching for a hands-on Finance Manager to lead the financial accounting process as well as the regular Central Bank reporting of BRFs.
The role
- P&L analysis, management of risk and ensuring that all the accounting activities are compliant with regulations
- Prepare financial statements in compliance with official guidelines and requirements such as IFRS
- Prepare and authorize weekly, monthly and quarterly CBUAE BRFs reports
- Prepare BS and income statement with budget comparison on monthly basis
- Managing the process of month-end and year-end closing
- Liaise with Auditors and CBUAE examiners for providing documents or information
- Manage all accounting operations including AR, AP, GL and Revenue and Expense Recognition
- Minimum 8 years' experience from a similar background
- Understanding of IFRS and CBUAE BRF reporting
- Professional qualification is a strong preference (ACA, ACCA, CA, CPA, CMA)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment
- Excellent presentation and stakeholder management skills
- Arabic speaking is a strong preference
